This is actually No.1 on Netflix in the UK. I see it not as an awards contender, but potentially surprising fan favourite. About to watch, and I actually thought the trailer looked good

It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine now. I enjoy it, it’s easy watching, Swank is very convincing and the supporting cast is good.

The main cast is great, but the scenes of the protagonist’s family on Earth are quite tedious. Overall, I don’t imagine this show at the awards.

Checked out the pilot – Swank and Charles turned in some nice work here but the overall episode was pretty bland. From what I understand the rest of the season is more family drama focused and less space focused which seems like a missed opportunity. People looking for a space drama should watch The Expanse instead.
