Philip Pullman’s fantasy novel series, His Dark Materials, is being brought to the small screen on the BBC with Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Ruth Wilson among the cast. Oscar winner Tom Hooper is set to direct the first two episodes while Jack Thorne, the Tony-winning scribe behind Harry Potter & the Cursed Child, has written the adaptation.
