I hated the moment when they mentioned the pandemic, but the COVID hoarder storyline was hilarious. Also, Larry listening to the theme music at a concert was really awesome, especially since it’s not something you expect.October 31, 2021 at 12:27 pm #1204549805
Episode Title: “Angel Muffin”

The first ep was hilarious – particularly the ‘Maria Sofia’ scene. The best comedy on TV is back!

An all-timer Curb episode! It reminded me a lot of “Palestinian Chicken”.
It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!November 15, 2021 at 10:27 am #1204580094
I’ve been enjoying this season, even though I think the plots have been a little more broad and outlandish than Curb usually is at its best. I think the Young Larry season arc feels a little thin at this point – certainly not as conceptually interesting or original as last season’s spite store – but as a loose scaffold to hang individual episodes onto, it certainly works. I absolutely loved the unexpected opening scene, one of the most surprising they’ve ever had, and I thought the premiere was really solid. “The Watermelon” is the high mark of the season so far. Ridiculous in a way only Curb could pull off, and had that signature payoff that we’ve come to hope for from the show. I think Leon has been the standout this season; he is absolutely indispensable to this show.
