I checked and there wasn’t a thread for this upcoming show. I’m really excited for Hoyeon.

Some quick info:

-It’s an AppleTV+ show.

-Alfonso Cuaron is writing and directing all episodes.

-The cast so far includes Cate Blanchett, Hoyeon, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kevin Kline and Sacha Baron Cohen.

-From THR: Based on the novel by Renee Knight, Disclaimer stars Blanchett as Catherine Ravenscroft, a “successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the concealed transgressions of long-respected institutions. When an intriguing novel written by a widower (Kline) appears on her bedside table, she is horrified to realize she is a key character in a story that she had hoped was long buried in the past. A story that reveals her darkest secret. A secret she thought was hers alone.”

–Hoyeon plays Kim, who is described as “ambitious, hardworking, and eager-to-please. … Kim knows that working for Ravenscroft is going to be her big break.”

-For those who don’t know: Hoyeon will now only be going by that name. From THR: The South Korean model turned actress (who has previously gone by Jung Ho-yeon, sometimes Westernized as HoYeon Jung, is now going by only Hoyeon).
