Josh and Tobias winning on their first nom too
September 19, 2021 at 8:39 pm #1204473192Emma can still win.
Just give her a quick forgettable 4 minute speech and push her in Guest.
September 19, 2021 at 8:40 pm #12044732037/7 in two consecutive Emmy calendars is a very troubling sign of what’s to come in the future. Emmy juggernauts or voter laziness? History could have been made for MJ Rodriguez and Michael Kenneth Williams tonight, but that clearly wasn’t the agenda on tap. Sad and dirty, but maybe I should have seen this coming all along. OLIVIA COLMAN??? Wig completely snatched on that one…
September 19, 2021 at 8:48 pm #1204473255I am low-key convinced they were voting for Season 3. Giving the win to Menzies and Colman over Corrin makes no sense otherwise lol.
This is what I’m thinking. One thing we were underestimating all season long (and this is the same with Schitt’s Creek in comedy last year) is that both shows really exploded in mainstream appeal and that helped some of its actors win over passion picks (Menzies over Williams, E. Levy over Youssef). It’s probably why Foy won in guest too.
Still weird that Dance lost lmao.
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
September 19, 2021 at 8:48 pm #1204473258Netflix has now tied CBS’s 47-year record for most Emmys in a single year: 44 (Netflix you know whom to thank)
What CBS series was the big winner that year
September 19, 2021 at 8:52 pm #1204473275Why are people devastated that Pose lost? The acting was laughable.

And let them do the same for Matt Smith and Vanessa Kirby!
September 19, 2021 at 9:01 pm #1204473311The way imelda staunton and jonathan pryce will become emmy winners thank you jesus. But not leslie manville cause they hate margaret
September 19, 2021 at 9:01 pm #1204473313And as each day goes by, The Crown’s POTY TCA snub makes less and less sense.
It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!
September 19, 2021 at 9:03 pm #1204473324The Crown S4, Schitts Creek S6 and Angels in America all 7/7 now
Which one is your fave?
Schitt’s Creek > Angels in America > The Crown

Margaret may have a bigger focus with her death storyline. But, what I fear with now Corrin losing is that Netflix will only submit the role of Queen Elizabeth II in lead actress and Princess Diana will be strictly placed in supporting.

TCA has a better taste than the Academy (and they watch more TV). They rewarded The Leftovers in the past and they nominated Charlotte Nicdao and Ethan Hawke this year (and let’s not forget that they rewarded Michaela Coel foi individual achievement in drama).

Well, it didn’t have to compete against Mare or Destroy or Gambit here.

That is a possibility with S6 since Diana will die after 2/3 episodes.
