    The thing is, Anya deserved it too but at least her character is more iconic and will be remember

    I think Mare Shehaan will be remembered more than Beth Harmon.

    I predicted Ewan’s win, darlings. This is TASTE. This is good acting. Excellent choice and I am happy I never let this forum or the “experts” change my mind.

    Now we need Bo Burnham to win so Hamilton will leave with only 1 Emmy (I can’t even remember the name of the category)

    Anya performance is iconic but Kates acting was better and this is a acting award after all.

    im surprised people didnt predict ewan, he really had no competition

    I had Bettany because I thought no one watched Halston. But it’s Mark Ruffalo all over again. But McGregor deserved.

    I wasn’t convinced that Emmy voters watched “Halston,” and I’m still not convinced lol. Ewan McGregor getting that career vote! Congrats!

    Whoever betted 100 dollars on Ewan winning must be in Forbes Top 100 right now.

    So, with all the slander that Anya received here, it put to waste. LOL. Congrats Kate. Well deserved.

    Anya’s time will come.

    I think part of why McGregor won is because the race was wide open and some voters checked out the show after he was nominated (which I think was also the case with King in 2018 and Ruffalo last year) and he ultimately had the most recency.

    While Mare has won 3 acting awards, Queen’s won the Directing award… I predicted Queen’s but boy am I not so certain! Maybe neither will win! (;
