If it is The Great though, are Hulu going to submit Hoult in supporting when he basically hit everywhere in lead?

His character might be more of a supporting one in Season 2 depending on how well the show sticks to the history books.

This is true but I wouldn’t rely on a revisionist Tony McNamara comedy sticking that close to history.

while simultaneously giving him that supporting run at Critics Choice.

He competed in lead at Critics Choice.

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

if they sign up for Hoult as a lead he has a nomination, but as a support he has almost an Emmy in his house

I think this surprise could be a comedy from HBO as a channel that will receive a great campaign. Or maybe Dead to me, next year they won’t have a chance

Then I think Riley must have seen the screeners for Girls5eva and have enjoyed it.

Or maybe we’re having a category change (The Flight Attendant moving to Drama, a prominent contender in lead moving to supporting or vice versa)?

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

No category changes on the horizon, unless the TV Academy committee declines a placement. We’ve heard nothing about that, either. I think Riley was either excited or disappointed by something he has just seen as screeners.
