Billy could win based on this trailer alone.

This trailer made me so sad this show is ending, and it’s clear this season’s going to put us through the ringer.

I’d love an MJ win so much. And holding out for Ghost Kandy to get Angelica Ross that guest nom.

I think one win was enough for Porter. It’s time the Emmys recognise actual trans actors from a show about them. I’d rather see MJ Rodriguez win, even though Corrin has been my main push this season. She looks absolutely amazing.

Oh yeah, an Mj win would be phenomenal. Both her and Billy winning would be amazing, too, though that’s prob a pipe dream.

She deserves it – not just for acting but also for introducing Stephanie Mills to a new generation almost singlehandedly!

    For Your Consideration:

Carrie Coon, ‘The Gilded Age’ (no I haven’t seen it, but we have no choice but to stan anyway)

They better get their due this year…

It’s absolutely despicable that one of the best ensembles on television (if not the best) hasn’t received a single SAG nomination for ensemble.

If Ben Mendelssohn and Ron Cephas Jones can do it, so can she.

Not that one can’t happen over the other
Billy Porter totally deserves another win, he is phenomenal as well.
And maybe finally he’ll get his SAG nod.

“Sources close to the show tell THR that Rege-Jean Page was offered an opportunity to return as a guest star in three to five episodes of season two of Bridgerton— at a rate of $50,000 an episode — but declined for a multitude of reasons.

Page told Variety that he was drawn to Bridgerton because the role was a “one-season arc” with a “beginning, middle, end” that allowed him to come in, “contribute my bit and then the Bridgerton family rolls on.”

Sources say the production reached out to Page’s camp in January or February with an offer to return — after he and the show broke out — even though plans for season two never included his character, Simon.

With Page’s film career taking off and an awareness that Simon would not be a focal point in season two, the actor declined to return to the Shondaland drama.”

Curious to see how this affects both his and the shows chances to win at the Emmys. I had Page getting double nom’d (SNL) on the strength of his own individual popularity.

Does him leaving make passion grow and voters become sentimental? Or does it begin to manifest to resentment?

A lot of coverage I’ve seen also mentioned how S2 will be focused on Anthony, guess that helps to secure a Bailey nom in supporting?

Yellowstone is such a huge cable hit that I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the show no one sees coming that suddenly gets noms. I won’t predict it of course, but I don’t mind outlets entertaining the possibility.

    From that article:

Justin Theroux puts on an acting clinic in “The Mosquito Coast,” in a course presumably titled “Advanced Mad Scientist: How to Humanize an Inventor Gone Wild.”
