    Gillian is such a lock for this Emmy she literally has no competition.

    Sigh.

    The Crown will win these at Creative Awards:

    – Casting;
    – Cinematography;
    – Costumes;
    – Production Design;

    + Series, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actress, Directing and likely Writing. Maybe 10 is too much, but not seeing winning less.

    I know ”Bridgerton” and ”The Queen’s Gambit” are threats in both Costumes and Production, but The Crown is so great those two categories that I can’t prevent to predict.

    Gillian is such a lock for this Emmy she literally has no competition.

    She could literally have three co-stars nominated against her and still be the clear favourite.

    Last 15 years, G+S winning actresses (either comedy or drama) = no Emmy: Sandra Oh, Killing Eve Sandra Oh, Grey’s Anatomy Luckily Gillian Anderson is not named Sandra Oh so should have no problem.

    This hurts…

    You mean Anderson is lucky she isn’t an Asian woman..

    And the reviews of The Nevers are… negative (at least, so far).

    Gillian Anderson is the first supporting actress ever to sweep, right? The only supporting actresses that won SAG that I can think of are Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson and Maggie Smith and they didn’t sweep.

    Yes but Sandra Oh won SAG and the Globe for Grey’s Anatomy before Critics Choice started handing out awards for television so I guess you could say she swept too.

    So John Lithgow is the first to win the individual Drama Actor SAG for a male supporting role and Gillian is the first supporting actress to win all three of the Globe, CC and SAG. Whomever is playing Tony Blair will probably sweep based on their casting rather than their performance lol.

    The way whomever plays Tony Blair in the next season of The Crown is now going to sweep.

    Knowing Netflix they won’t submit him.

    Scratch that, the person joining Jacobi, Jennings, Brooke in the excellent but not submitted will be whoever plays Martin Bashir.

    Lol I disagree. Have you seen The Queen? Whomever plays Tony Blair might even be submitted in lead.
