This is my final thought on this year’s ceremony (I promise!) but I really love how Sarah Paulson is supportive of her peers’ work. The way she smiled when she handed Foy and Winslet their Emmys or cheered when Julianne and Evan won and when Corrin beat her at the Globes.

I think so yes. She kept promoting Michaela and the show throughout the entire year and pretty much recommended it to almost everyone she knew.
She’s really supportive of actors especially those who are under awarded and/or are newcomers. It’s interesting because I think she mentioned something last summer (I think she liked someone’s tweet) about how although last year’s drama supporting actress category was filled with very strong win worthy turns she was supporting Sarah Snook because she’s the only one in the category who either wasn’t an Emmy winner and/or wasn’t very established in their career. A true queen!

Just completed watching Mare Of Easttown. Wow. What a series !
The writing is so lived-in,the characters so complex and developed. The directing is good and the atmosphere of the community feels so real.
With regards to the performances, Nicholson was heartbreaking in the finale. That’s how you win an Emmy. Peters was good and so was the scene stealing Jean Smart. But the series belongs to Winslet. It’s a tour de force and frankly speaking,one of the best TV performances ever (I think you all can agree). The fact that she refused to do the makeup shit and no editing,all were so brave. She has achieved in Mare something that has changed culture in Hollywood. She truly deserved the Emmy and I really really hope this marks the beginning of a Career resurgence for her.
