I think I’ll be interested to see whether Showtime pair up The Man Who Fell to Earth and The First Lady together in scheduling. I mean neither are obviously Dexter but I can see it helping both shows like Dexter did with Yellowjackets.
FYC:
"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

Exactly. It’s amusing to see people reach hard and try to find some way to shit on Garner because they want their favorite to win…why is it a “baity” performance just because she’s playing the character and role that was written for her to perfection? She’s been extraordinary and her performance stays with you long after the show is over. I think she deserved every one of her awards and will deserve the upcoming one.
January 23, 2022 at 7:30 am #1204745156I hope Garner wins her third. Sorry, not sorry.
January 23, 2022 at 8:04 am #1204745197Lisa Emery > Garner for most of the season. The finale was her Garner’s moment, and she did it well but I do feel people tend to fawn over her. Emery deserves an Emmy for her impeccable delivery of ‘I even went to the drug to find a card- no such card exists’ alone.

Yeah like is anyone on here even watching it ? ..
January 23, 2022 at 9:12 am #1204745289It’s one of the top rated shows on tv still.
January 23, 2022 at 9:43 am #1204745309I just think This is Us is not something these forums would pay attention, even when it’s doing well.
The show is quite big on social media.FYC:
"Succession" and "Severance" in all Drama categories;
"Ted Lasso" and "The Great" in all Comedy categories;
"Station Eleven" and "The White Lotus" in all Limited categories + Ethan Hawke for "Moon Knight".January 23, 2022 at 10:26 am #1204745347So the supporting actress that insider said he knew was going to win S. Actress was just a Julia Garner repeat all along? He could’ve just said that…
He was kind of hinting at Emery, but I don’t see it, she was good but Jessica Frances Duke was better even tho she stands no chance
January 23, 2022 at 10:27 am #1204745355I hope it’s a strong vehicle for Harris and Ejiofor. Whilst both have remained working actors since they became Oscar nominated (both of them should have also won their respective Oscar categories but that’s a conversation for another day) I’ve always felt that they haven’t really landed a project like Moonlight or 12 Years a Slave that has matched the quality behind each of their performances.
My god, Harris deserves so much more than she has gotten

Same with Euphoria

January 23, 2022 at 11:01 am #1204745384I wonder the effect of Inventing Anna if it is not well received, if any. Because of the source material and cast I imagine even if it’s not great, it’ll be a hit.
January 23, 2022 at 11:47 am #1204745408He confirmed it was Garner.
my bad 😊😊 Garner may win it in the end, even tho Im team Snook this year
January 23, 2022 at 1:07 pm #1204745447the best performance is the best performance, I would love if Snook got her first Emmy, but not rewarding Garner just because shes won before is bullshit.
