Yeah, to go off of your post in the last thread, she should definitely be in supporting. And the other women better run and hide.
Julia Garner is such an easy win. I see only Bobby Brown and Ho Yeon with a realistic chance who can take her down, Millie Bobby Brown if Stranger Things S4 gets bigger than our imagination. You can make a strong argument for Jung Ho Yeon but even then Garner makes so much sense.
P.S: Snook isn’t winning over Jung Ho Yeon AND Julia Garner after losing the two industry awards SAG and AACTA, the latter despite being an Australian for a show that won AACTA and the former despite having no problems of a vote split and being in the Ensemble winner. Would I want her to win? Hell yeah! Do I think she’ll win? Nope. No way

I’ve dropped Killing Eve from Series, but for some reason I can’t bring myself to drop Comer, Oh, or Shaw. As much as I want to for this “limp to the finish” season.

Yeah, I think all three actresses are making in. The show has its supporters who’ll carry it even if the quality is not what it once was. I have it in Series as well. As wolfali pointed, it didn’t miss for S3 and it has a passionate base.

That’s true. The nomination is always the bigger hurdle for Zendaya.

I dropped Shaw because in spite of the respect for her as an actor having grown with time, I wasn’t sure if she has been getting in on her own accord or due to support for the show. But I’m finding it difficult to drop Comer and Oh. They nominated Oh off the bat when Killing Eve was a much more under-seen series and she could have missed last year for people like Moss (who she missed for at SAG) and Withersppon after missing all the winter awards but she didn’t. Comer is a previous winner and got in at the winter awards (sans SAG where she probably would have had she not been up against The Crown and Ozark ladies). Likewise whilst Killing Eve and their performances are buzzless, both Comer and Oh individually are arguably buzzier than they’ve ever been thanks to various different projects.
They seem to have more support than the show.
