the way only hoyeon and ricci have a chance from that lineup. thr didn’t even try with this cover
Gotta say though Emmy is great on this panel.
Also, someone cast Ricci and Oh in a team-up.
May 25, 2022 at 7:31 am #1204963039I think the nomination is the bigger hurdle for Mandy Moore than the win.
100% this.

I would kill to see them both lead a buddy cop comedy together.
FYC:
"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

You could see how impressed they were with her. If she’s not winning, she’s coming close.
She also has a genuine sense of humility and is aware of how new and naive she is in the industry, and I think that helps. She was quite overwhelmed to be there in the first place.
May 25, 2022 at 8:47 am #1204963089Except for a few exceptions, thr round table is a bunch of also rans. Mandy probably smart to sit this one out.
Out of the 6 girls, only one of them (Emmy Rossum) has no shot at a nomination. Don’t really understand where this “bunch of also rans” lashing is coming from.

Yeah, when she started crying it was sweet but I also felt bad for her because you could tell she was very overwhelmed by the whole situation. Not to mention not being a native English speaker on top of everything else. I feel like I would be totally okay with her winning too so I am not complaining about it. It’s between her and Garner as is and Garner already has two Emmys. Unless Rhea Seehorn finally pulls off a nomination.
May 25, 2022 at 12:13 pm #1204963413She is coming at 200 kilometres per hour
Mandy Moore didn't think she could pull off everything that #ThisIsUs required of her. She did it anyway. https://t.co/k8GntcJI9v

He’s a little late to the party but anything helps.

Genuine question – can you deservingly overperform? Like, is the idea of overperforming in the context of these boards that (a) the show is doing better than the quality warrants or (b) the show is doing better than experts and/or GD predicted?
May 25, 2022 at 6:24 pm #1204963800Weird parallel among the three best drama series this season (in my opinion: Succesion, Better Call Saul, Severance). Strong openings, middle episodes that potentially underwhelm but not enough for anyone to really doubt the series quality, then finales that absolutely blow the roof off the house.
Having a hard time thinking of better episodes this season than All the Bells Say, Plan and Execution, and The We We Are. Of course theyre all competing against eachother.
May 25, 2022 at 6:53 pm #1204963816This Is Us had it’s highest ratings in the last three seasons for the finale:

Good to see a trend of behavior of dropping back in even if you aren’t caught up. I can imagine a lot of voters probably just watching the last few episodes given the buzz if they’ve just caught up.
