I do think we should keep an eye out for Scott, if nominated ofc.
Totally out of nowhere and random but he reminds me a lot of Evan Peters last year (with a better performance), respected actor who should have a nom by now and then the show’s strength carries him to a win.

    Emmy winner Matthew Macfadyen!!

I thought about it and rationalised Brown missing last time meant she wasn’t necessarily that strong in the first place.

I don’t think Millie missed for S3 because she wasn’t as strong. Most actually felt S3 was her strongest season. IMO it was more the timing of the release

But it wasn’t. Euphoria has won as many Emmys in one season as Mr. Robot won in its entire run. And you said it was bigger in terms of awards and prestige which have both been proven to completely false statements. In no context was Mr. Robot a bigger show whether it be in season one or its entire run than Euphoria at the Emmys. Euphoria in one season and a special has won 20 awards industry wide and Mr. Robot in 4 seasons had 21. In no way are they comparable let alone Mr. Robot being in a better situation.

Meh. Euphoria rose in a pandemic when there really wasn’t much on. Anyway, their tech noms (costumes, makeup, music, cinematography) are deserved yay clap clap good for them. It has received one Primetime Emmy nom (1 win) from its first season and its TV movie. Given that cinemtography (like sound) should be Primetime not Creative, Euphoria should by rights be able to count that as a prestige nomination.

Mr. Robot competed in the era of serious prestige drama. It received 12 Primetime Emmy noms (2 wins), including 6 in its first season.

The two shows have some stylistic similarities i terms of cinemtography and music, and one could argue that young women’s programming is not taken as seriously as young men’s programming, but it’s a pointless comparison anyway, let’s move on.

Stanning the potential Britt Lower Emmy nomination today, but also hoping to see Adam Scott recognized finally after how much he’s paid his dues in the industry. The scene of him drunk and the revelation proceeding the incident was sublime. Turturro also held his ground against Walken so naturally and poignantly. Macrodata Refinement getting nomination would be a joy to see.

Imma keep Sydney Sweeney into my Drama Supporting Actress predictions, but I definitely don’t feel great about it.

    Lead Actress: Zendaya (Melanie Lynskey)

Directing: The We We Are, Severance (Red Light, Green Light, Squid Game)
