I would love to know if anything at Starz has even been close in the last few years or they just have a straight aversion to them.

Blindspotting is currently my dream nominee, but I know it won’t happen.

    from TCA’s Twitter

“It’s our final week of #TCA21 and we’ve got lots of great content planned. Stay tuned on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for presentations from WBTV, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, HBO & HBO Max, TNT and YouTube Originals.”

TNT only have Snowpiercer in continuing drama right?

I think the almost complete flip to streaming wins has me really concerned for This Is Us if I’m honest. The number of nominations for network was still pretty high and I was a bit more confident before, but NBC had prime opportunity to get Kenan or Bowen over the line and couldn’t make it happen.

This is definitely not the last season of Outlander. Each season is based on a novel in the series, and there are ten novels, so ten seasons.

I think that you guys know that I watch and love Outlander because I’ve posted that a few times, and I’m hopedicting it for nominations. I do really think that if Balfe gets an Oscar nomination, her chances for an Emmy nomination are increased. She’s brilliant in the role (not over praise, she’s genuinely Emmy-worthy) and she’s recieved a lot of major nominations for her work.

So, I’m going to root for her the entirety of Oscar season, so that she can hopefully have a better shot at an Emmy nomination, so that the show itself will have increased visibility, so that Emmys 2023 will have Outlander across-the-board.

(I know its not gonna happen but  crazier things have happened. Schitts Creek for instance.)

    Oscars FYC:

Dune in Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Score, Sound, Production Design, Cinematography, Makeup and Hairstyling, Costume Design, Film Editing, and Visual Effects

    Free Guy in Visual Effects

Drama Series (assuming Bridgerton, Handmaid’s, House of the Dragon, The Mandalorian, Slow Horses and Stranger Things miss eligibility)

For some reason, seeing all of the shows listed and I realized unless a bunch of under the radar contenders emerge (total possibility) 2022 doesn’t look strong in drama. I’m feeling like if Succession could do it in 2020 this competition looks far weaker (as of now)
