Laura Linney’s revenge beginsOctober 19, 2021 at 7:52 am #1204526307
Thoughts on a January release date here? (Assuming they hold over part 2 til the second half of the year?)
I think it’s fine. Ozark is gonna be a big contender regardless of when it airs. As for part 2, I would assume the end of 2022 maybe. We do need some space in between.October 19, 2021 at 7:57 am #1204526323
Laura Linney is coming and we’re getting her the WIN this timeOctober 19, 2021 at 8:03 am #1204526339
I think its award chances are unaffected by the release date but I can’t understand why Netflix would want to release it in January? Surely if it can come that early in the year it must be ready for a December release so why wouldn’t they do that? The commercial benefits with everyone being at home and the awards ones with it then being eligible for the winter awards would have been huge. Missed opportunity.
That being said I won’t mind if the January release means they will be airing part 2 during Emmy voting because…
"The Good Fight" and "The Other Two" in all categories.October 19, 2021 at 8:34 am #1204526414
Darlings! We’re getting Snook that SAG, moving Baranski to supporting to get that Emmy, getting Linney her Emmy and then getting Staunton her 2023 winter awards and Emmy sweep.
From your hands to the voters’ heart!
Although I lowkey hope Snook and/or Coon gets that Emmy, hihi

I think maybe they just genuinely aren’t ready, and January is relatively quiet comparatively. They don’t currently have anything concurrent but This Is Us.October 19, 2021 at 8:40 am #1204526426
The bloodbath in 2024 when season 4 of Succession is released but it ends up being its last and it’s competing head to head with the final season of The Crown.
