Colin Firth will pull off a “Kate Winslet” and win over the frontrunnner.

Is toni Collette supporting or lead in staircase?

A little bit of Magic never hurt anybody.

Some of my friends think that she could be in lead but I don’t know if HBO Max will submit her there.

Amanda Seyfried is all but confirmed to win at this point.

Fitting that there’s immediately statements like these the moment someone tries to claim this forum is underestimating Seyfried lol.

I’m voting for Margaret Qualley, the frontrunner for 7 months now, so.

The Staircase could be the Mare of this year: Meh trailer that lowered expectations, surprising excellent reviews and a leading performance from a (british) industry titan that will win over the winner of the winter awards.

Even I can see Collete being in Lead and winning it if the show ends with a high note.

I think the Staircase is getting in series but I think we should slow down on the Mare comparisons. It doesn’t have, at least right now, the massive momentum and popularity Mare had. I do agree with Spoonful of Sugar that the lead actor race is Keaton v. Firth, though.

Series, Actor and Actress usually get 5 but some people think we are getting 6 this year due to the increase in contenders this year

THE DROPOUT (3) – Series, Seyfried, Andrews

I think other people have already said this, but Macy also seems likely regardless of whether the show makes the cut in Limited Series. I get that some people don’t like his performance but he randomly got nominated for Shameless again last year right? Emmy voters clearly like him and the category isn’t that deep.

Kinda feeling Rothwell instead of Daddario.

Have a great day if you see this!

Wasn’t Winslet the frontrunner last year? I know I had no doubt about her winning from the beginning. Or did it just air later in the cycle or something?

The frontrunner from the winter award season was Taylor-Joy, she swept the winter awards (like Keaton this year). She had no competition until Winslet came in the mix.

Not sure enough people will be interested in watching The Staircase in time for it to get in Series.
