Quality of the season aside, Sarah Paulson for American Horror Story in supporting actress in the limited category would be a nice nomination. Didn’t watched the second part of Double Feature, but she was great as Tuberculosis Karen, it was one of my favorite Sarah’s performances in AHS.

The top 11 is GOAT but I have to say that I really love how both Blackpool and Howards End made the cut. Two of the most under appreciated shows of the century imo.

June 22, 2022 at 12:59 am #1204992374Love the references I keep seeing on here to “The Big 3” — Maid, The White Lotus, Dopesick. 100% I couldn’t agree more. The race is between those 3.
Though, this idiot didn’t even watch Dopesick or Maid, and doesn’t predict Qualley or Keaton…
Him saying he has weird taste because he likes Dexter and Ray Donovan 💀

1. “Angels in America”Sharp Objects shouldn’t be nowhere near this list, and neither should The Queen’s Gambit (which I’m a fan). Otherwise, it’s a good list.

Maybe on opposite day.

June 22, 2022 at 8:18 am #1204992554This category is such a mess that I am so excited to see the nominations!
Anyways putting my money on Julia Garner for Inventing Anna. That show is something a lot of Academy members must have seen. Premiering on Netflix gives you an edge (hello Octavia) Also in a year where so many shows are going under the radar or underperforming, hers is a case to be made for.
I so want Jessica to get in for Scenes of Marriage and I feel she has a strong chance but do remember – the Academy isn’t too kind towards unlikeable characters and my god, hers is a character that is so easy to hate! Slotting her in Top 5 only to manifest a nomination.
June 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm #1204993100Hi, does anyone know why HBO didn’t nominate anyone from “The Time Traveler’s Wife” to the Emmys?
June 22, 2022 at 1:02 pm #1204993103If anybody still had doubts, Jennifer Coolidge will play Tanya again on The White Lotus S2
The White Lotus: Jennifer Coolidge Will Reprise Role as Tanya in Season 2
FYC:
All things Succession, Severance, Ted Lasso, The Great and The White Lotus! Also, Colin Firth and Janelle James while you're at it.

It didn’t qualify for Emmys because of when it released, it straddled two nomination periods.

If I recall the rules correctly, that now means the show definitely shouldn’t be competing in Limited. right? It really annoys me how cynical HBO are with that rule. We’ve known about season 2 for months, they obviously could’ve moved it to Comedy earlier.
