If Dever pulls off an upset over Coolidge, I will cry of happiness for the rest of my life.

I agree it was a weak year, but got to say I don’t the get the Dopesick hate, it was good and deserving of every nomination it got and I would be fine with they winning series, actor and supporting actress.

Everyone else may be conflicted over the idea of Coolidge winning but this will honestly be me if it happens:

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

I don’t the get the Dopesick hate

at least for my part isn’t hate but actually indifference because we had great and inspiring nominations/wins in the limited category on the last years so a show like Dopesick don’t inspire anything on me.

Dopesick is uninspired, a slog, boring, and tired Emmy bait.

If we forget that awful Hamilton acting spam, then yes.

At least we finally got an Emmy nomination for Jonathan Groff out of it after years of snubs.

I was gonna say that i hope next year nominees are better but it can’t get worse than Inventing Anna right? Also I’m seeing a lot of campaigning for Dopesick and not that much at all for White Lotus, really hoping Dopesick doesn’t win.

Dopesick feels like a thing of the past. Keaton will be the sole winner. White Lotus is about to dominate the limited series categories.

Completely disagree, it is an incredible piece of television, really smart writing that packs a lot of stories and point of views, but it never loses track of a single one of its characters. It also manages to be incredibly entertaining even it its somber atmosphere and disturbing subject matter. And this is what modern limited series are lacking of. Dopesick never felt longer than necessary. The Dropout undoubtedly did. And I am watching The Staircase now… Gosh, it doesn’t need those long episodes at all, this has to stop, episode 5 felt eternal. I just want to clarify that I think that both The Dropout and The Staircase are very good and solid shows, but their errors are visible and there is no point to deny them.

The only silver lining out of that spam. He should’ve been nominated before wbk.
