January 10, 2022 at 12:44 pm #1204713345Which TV-films are then contenders?

Madres (Prime Video)
Ray Donovan: The Movie (Showtime)

OMG? She’s coming for her things.
SHE’S WINNING
FYC:
"Succession" and "Severance" in all Drama categories;
"Ted Lasso" and "The Great" in all Comedy categories;
"Station Eleven" and "The White Lotus" in all Limited categories + Ethan Hawke for "Moon Knight".January 10, 2022 at 5:41 pm #1204713958On the topic of The White Lotus – it’s quite clear to me that Coolidge is losing the Emmys. The show has not been doing good outside of her and she couldn’t win the Globes that would, on paper, rush to award an acclaimed performance from someone like her. She’s probably still going to be nominated but I wouldn’t be surprised if she becomes a non factor in the next few months when more contenders start to show up in this category.

This seems to be the very sad truth.

But, Snook won the award!

Queen Aubrey is getting her due after being wrongfully ignored with P&R, I know that’s right!
January 11, 2022 at 7:38 am #1204715024The trades have noted Suspicion with Uma Thurman is an eight episode limited series, debuts Feb 4 (I believe it was a bit unclear if this was drama or limited).
With no one to trust, it's difficult for the truth to set them free.

January 11, 2022 at 8:59 am #1204715204Oh I thought it was a drama series. Here for Uma though!
January 11, 2022 at 10:09 am #1204715329The offer(paramount plus) premieres april 28th.
January 11, 2022 at 10:22 am #1204715371With Coolidge, Dever and MacDowell losing the Globe and probably losing at SAG too, I feel like the field in supporting actress has opened up for someone like Headey or Dockery to come in (if their shows are contenders) and win like we’ve seen these past few years in this category with veterans from spring series winning over early buzzed about contenders.
FYC:
"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")
