With Coolidge, Dever and MacDowell losing the Globe and probably losing at SAG too, I feel like the field in supporting actress has opened up for someone like Headey or Dockery to come in (if their shows are contenders) and win like we’ve seen these past few years in this category with veterans from spring series winning over early buzzed about contenders.

I’m gonna say this, one of the First Ladies will go supporting and win, i feel it in my bones

I maintain that I do definitely think it’s possible all three go supporting if the rumoured narrative structure is correct.

If any one of them does go supporting it will be interesting to see how that impacts the lead actress race.

    FYC:

"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

I think Showtime will try to maximize the number of noms by placing some of them in Lead

If Michael Keaton wins SAG (which is something I am currently predicting) I think he’s probably locked for the Emmy nomination but I wonder if The Dropout might over-shadow Dopesick like Mare of Easttown did with The Undoing due to being similar types of shows.
