Jon Hamm is perfect for Fargo. Juno Temple is also a very interesting casting choice. Never been a huge JJL fan but she is fine.

I think so. I’ve been listening to him on American Hostage podcast where he is definitely the lead but its a podplay for lack of a different term. I just started it this week and this news comes after I also just listened to his interview in Smartless #manifesting. I am thrilled about this casting choice. Obviously. Plus, Hawley owes us after season 4. It was fine but way too over ambitious and strayed too much from what makes Fargo special.

Exciting cast. Love seeing John Hamm back on the small screen. Juno Temple is so fitting for Fargo as well. JJL just immediately gives me flashbacks of her The Hateful Eight character. Another snowy landscape set role.

Juno and Hamm are such perfect fits for the Fargo universe.

I liked season four but it was easily the worst of the four seasons. Still, it was worth a watch for Jessie Buckley alone.

Hopefully this is a return to the quality we saw in the first two seasons.

For some reason I can’t upvote posts, but I completely agree with the post above. Hamm and Temple being in Fargo just makes sense. And even though the latest season was underwhelming, I do believe they can redeem themselves.

Admittedly not very exciting casting choices IMO, but it seems they’re focusing the characters down to just a few, which has always been the strength of Fargo (except Season 4, which is largely why it’s the weakest one). Fingers crossed this does at least as well as Season 3.

Going from Chris Rock to Jon Hamm as the lead is such a big upgrade I’m actually excited for this season.. I hope Juno Temple gets a good role too.

I respect Chris Rock for taking a big swing even if it didn’t quite hit. But I’m really hopeful for this new season given the massive talent among the cast. Hopefully it feels more like Fargo than S4 did.
