I see acting nominations for Paddy (win), Emma, Olivia, Molly, and Matt.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 10, 2022 at 2:36 pm #1205114066This show has just been getting better and better these past few episodes. Give Paddy Considine his Emmy now.
Side note: I really appreciated how they handled the SA in this episode. In the early seasons of GOT it’s definitely something that they would’ve shown on screen while someone gives a monologue about power or something. And then we would’ve seen Tyrion find out and he would’ve sighed in exasperation and made some joke about it. HoD was way more respectful and less gratuitous about it. Even though Alicent covered it up it was nice to see her express empathy towards the victim and lash out at Aegon later on.

More proof we need more women of colour involved behind the scenes because what an episode! Kudos to everyone involved.

I still think Supporting for everyone. If someone is Lead, I can only imagine Paddy Considine.

Congrats to Paddy for a magnificent performance this season. I hope he will be nominated for an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG.

Anyways, there are too many Aegons in this show!
Also, give Paddy his Emmy.

October 11, 2022 at 3:59 am #1205114687Not once did I think Paddy Considine would ever have this much hype in his career 💀 I’m happy for him though, he definitely deserves it. Inspired casting. Though I wouldn’t shower the ensemble with individual nominations, I would actually support a casting win for this season.

This is more than deliberate.

Jon Snow is the Aegon that fulfilled the prophecy by uniting the seven kingdoms (or at least trying to) in order to defeat the enemy in the North. That was basically his arc in the show from season 5 onwards.October 11, 2022 at 10:17 am #1205115238Has anyone thought about “Aegon” being Jon Snow, since his birth name was Aegon, but King Viserys just think it was his grandson and/or son ? The Aegon Viserys was referring to was Aegon I, the conqueror. He was talking about his prophecy and what he wanted.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 11, 2022 at 1:16 pm #1205115580Paddy Considine has more than earned his lead placement. Like I said before, I think the most equitable placements for everyone else is supporting. I hope it’s not instead the younger cast goes supporting and the older cast goes lead, b/c not all of those performances are created equal.

Everyone will go supporting and it makes sense to me . No one is leading but paddy is the closest to a lead figure.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 11, 2022 at 1:20 pm #1205115586I don’t see how Paddy is not Leading. He appeared in each one of the first 8 episodes a considerable amount of time.

I don’t know In which category he will have the better chance but regardless I think HBO should submit him in Lead because it’s the right thing to doOctober 11, 2022 at 1:24 pm #1205115596Everyone will go supporting and it makes sense to me . Considine isn’t supporting.
