I’m not sure, but maybe it had something to do with the last time he hosted the Globes, where he did a horribly shitty job and was almost entirely absent from it outside of his opening sequence.

At least there’s a pulse that we’re going to get an Emmy award show to begin with. But I say hold ’em under strict guidelines; temperature checks at the door, social distancing, mandatory masks and maybe cutting the live crowd in half. But have a live show, not another virtual thing. The cancellation of the creative arts ceremony exposes the lack of confidence in their own belief they could keep things safe. There are only so many virtual events one can take. I think we’re all getting tired of those.

I know I’m setting myself up as the bad guy here, but how long do we have to go virtual? *shakes head*….

If they did have the live ceremony still, do you think they’ll move the guest categories to the main ceremony instead of the craft?

Didn’t know where else to post this but if there are no category presenters this year if we have a live ceremony due to Covid-19 that is actually a good thing. The awkwardness of Luke Kirby and Jane Lynch presenting Directing in a Comedy Series is an example of why.

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

I think it would be interesting if the winner presents the next category and so on, to avoid less people on stage as possible and it would also be a fun addition.
