Season 3 is being show ran by Suzanne Heathcote and will most likely air around the same time in April of this year on BBC America.
Also, it has been confirmed that the show has been renewed for a fourth season. There are no details on who the new show runner will be.
Please discuss all things to do with Killing Eve in this thread

True, tho with KE it was obvious, sure maybe in some places it was not-so-well executed analogy to season one, but even with that, the intention was clear.
But with ST I’m actually angry because the send off that that character got was so heartbreaking and so well done. I cried like crazy and for what?Anyway, loved that little teaser they put yesterday:
I didn’t really search for spoilers about KE s.3. tho some of them appeared on my screen without my consent lol. Anyway, excited as hell for this new season.

I also think the Emmy for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” is wide open this year when initially I thought that Olivia Colman might sweep for “The Crown.” Colman only won the GG, but lost the Critics Choice to Regina King and the SAG to Jennifer Aniston.

Her first writing credit was an episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, then she co-wrote single episodes of Coming Up and My Mad Fat Diary starring Jodie Comer. She then wrote one episode of Tatau and co-wrote a single episode from the first season of Sex Education. She most recently wrote two episodes of Turn Up Charlie. This will be her first producing credit and first time having a position with seniority in a writers’ room.

Sure, after s.1 they were forced to choose this concept, but now it seems they are fully committed to it and I genuinely respect that.
The fact that she was a writer in s.3 (she wrote ep 3×2) and they noticed her there helps and suggests that they finally figured out how to do it.

Good luck!February 21, 2020 at 2:53 am #1203354766Okay, that makes way more sense. I did not know that she worked on the third season because it was not on IMDb.

March 19, 2020 at 4:01 pm #1203387537I secretly hope that Sandra Oh will finally be able to work with equally good material as Jodie Comer. It was heartbreaking to see that she couldn’t win the Emmy (on her 10th nomination) even with her being the front-runner and everything, and I do believe that this happened because her co-star got all the exciting and juicy scenes in the second season. The show revolves around Villanelle, though both characters should be highlighted by the writers because the chemistry of the two actresses is the most fascinating aspect of the show.

March 20, 2020 at 3:22 am #1203387888I absolutely agree, Piper Halliwell. Like I posted in the Emmy snub thread, I know that Sandra has at least 2 more chances for an Emmy as Killing Eve has been renewed for 2 more seasons, but I fear the momentum is gone for Killing Eve. I was extremely disappointed that she, yet again, didn’t win the Emmy. I feel that to win an Emmy or any other award, there has to be a tremendous amount of momentum and love for the show in order to win that plurality of votes. Sandra wasn’t even nominated for the GG, CC, or SAG for Season 2, all three of which she won for Season 1. Season 2 didn’t even win anything other than Jodie’s Emmy. Now all the awards organizations are fixated on the newer, brighter, shinier objects like “The Morning Show,” and so unless if she delivers an absolute knock out performance in Season 3, she may not even be nominated.
I do believe that Jodie’s role (Villanelle) is the meatier, juicier role, and that is one of several reasons why the fans on Twitter are far more obsessed with her character than Sandra’s character Eve. This includes the beautiful, bright costumes that Villanelle wears, as opposed to the muted, neutral business casual clothing that Eve wears. As reviews for Season 2 pointed out, Villanelle became the true lead and Eve became almost a secondary, supporting character that was overshadowed by Villanelle. That writing is partly why I think Sandra lost the Emmy, and so I hope the new writer does a better job of making Eve shine rather than relegating her to a supporting role. It’s supposed to be a show with two female co-leads, and one of them is clearly getting overshadowed by the other. That being said, they have excellent chemistry with each other, and that’s why the show works.
