I have been asked my the wonderful wolfali to start a series of love or loathe polls for emmy winners, and I thought it was a brilliant idea and kind of felt stupid that I did not think about it myself lol. Wolfali also gave me the recommendation to do Mark Ruffalos win for I Know This Much is True for my first poll, so thank you wolfali. Personally speaking I didn’t like the show at all and Mark Ruffalo I found to be a bit of a miscast here. He was just not convincing for me, so I really loathe is win. Let me know what you guys think do you love or loathe hos win

It’s good that Mark Ruffalo has a major industry award for the great work he’s put over the years but the best choice in the category would have been Paul Mescal for Normal People.December 14, 2021 at 5:14 pm #1204656385Not the worst Emmy winner but they were robbed darlings:

December 14, 2021 at 5:20 pm #1204656407LOVE. As one of the few people around here who actually watched and championed “IKTMIT,” I’ll say that Mark Ruffalo was excellent from start to finish and fully deserved his Emmy win. It was the one prediction that year I proudly NEVER wavered on for one second! This limited series should have received a number of Emmy nominations outside of Ruffalo, but that’s for another topic.

Totally deserved, he gave his heart out in this performance.
Hugh Jackman was my 2nd.ReplyCopy URLPlease! These gays, they're trying to murder me!
December 15, 2021 at 10:27 am #1204657968I’ve still only seen the first episode of this, but just based on that I think he easily deserved to win, as much as I liked Paul Mescal and Hugh Jackman. And it’s also a much better win than Ewan McGregor’s this year for Halston, even though that whole category was pretty bad.

This is where I’m at too, except I don’t love the performance. I thought he was great but Mescal inspire more passion from me.
