Welcome back to another round of love or loathe Emmy edition. We have Regina King and her heartbreaking work in Seven Seconds. I personally love her Emmy win but she would not have been my choice that year I would have given it to Sarah Paulson for AHS: Cult because she was a tour de force in that season. It was a huge surprise when she won because no one thought she would win for a cancelled show, but shesl is Regina King and she can do no wrong. Let me know what you all think do you love or loathe her win.

It’s almost impossible for me to dislike a performance given by King so I don’t begrudge her win too much even though she wouldn’t have been my personal choice here. That being said my personal pick would have been Dern who just gave the most emotional performance I’ve seen from her with her career best turn in The Tale. Dockery comes very close for me though with her transformative turn on Godless.

    My lineup that year:

    – Hayley Atwell, Howards End
    – Laura Dern, The Tale
    – Michelle Dockery, Godless
    – Regina King, Seven Seconds
    – Elisabeth Moss, Top of the Lake : China Girl*
    – Carey Mulligan, Collateral

    * = should really be in drama because that was essentially Top of the Lake season 2 but I’m just going by the Emmy ballot here.

FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Anyone who bothered to watch this would know King was phenomenal here.

A Negroni. Sbagliato. With Prosecco in it.

I can never loathe King, that said, Laura Dern should’ve taken it.

Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!
