Hopefully Paltrow is Razzie worthy and Lange goes supporting for The Politician cuz then the Globe is Dunst’s. Skarsgård looks like he could be a contender for comedy supporting actor at the Emmys though he only appears in half the trailer so that’s concerning?
I believe both are supporting, the only lead is Ben Platt.

August 17, 2019 at 7:51 pm #1203028412Just finished the first two episodes and I absolutely love this show. I know there’s some reviews saying it isn’t as good in the 2nd half, but I’ll have to see for myself, I definitely think the premise can sustain a season, after that, I’m not as confident. Dunst is of course amazing, but Mel Rodgriguez and Théodore Pellerin are fantastic as well. I suppose Skarsgard will probably be guest eligible, unless he stars popping up in flashbacks or something.

Showtime canceled Kidding and Florida in the same year… I can’t.

And Kidding should have earned Jim Carrey a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy nominations.. they need to do better with their newer shows.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 8, 2020 at 12:45 pm #1203767206Yeah, I’m not sure what is up with Showtime in recent years. It seems like they don’t know how to market their series anymore. Shame.
Both On Becoming A God in Central Florida (although awful title from a marketing standpoint) and Kidding were excellent, had top tier talent and deserved better!
What happened to the days of Dexter, Weeds and Homeland? I mean hell, they were even able to get Huff some awards love way back when, but they couldn’t do it for OBAGICF, Kidding or Billions???
