Just as I was about to give up on this show, episode 4 convinced me to stay lol. It’s starting to grow on me so hopefully the only way is up.
Rose Byrne was incredible in this week’s episode. Thoroughly deserving of her performer of the week title.

June 27, 2021 at 3:23 am #1204320053I love Rose Byrne and I was all in on the trailer but put off by the reviews. I’m saving an Apple free trial for when The Morning Show S2’s out, so I’m going to wait it out until September as I want to at least give it a go. Glad to see there’s some improvement.

June 27, 2021 at 5:43 am #1204320104I should have checked up that it wasn’t a Craig Gillespie show before hyping it up. He just directed the pilot.

June 27, 2021 at 2:59 pm #1204320653I have nothing against Rose Byrne personally of course (and I enjoy her and Bobby Cannavale as a celebrity marriage) and good on her for choosing solid projects, but I have found her to be a weak link consistently enough in whatever I have seen her in over the years. But this, well, she is perfection in the next episode. Give her the Emmy! I love the daughter too.

From what I understood, the Globes are still gonna announce nominations and wins, only the live telecast that won’t air.

The show is really picking up now. Can’t wait for next week’s episode!

I did laugh the hell out of that scene when she was trying to film and the kid kept running, lol.

July 31, 2021 at 6:04 am #1204373198Is anyone still watching? I LOVED this week’s episode. 10/10 on all fronts. Proof that (most of the time) once a show starts to progress its plot and further the arcs of its characters that the only way is up!
It’s actually weird because it felt like I was a completely different show from the one I felt I was when I was watching the pilot (in a good way).

July 31, 2021 at 7:41 am #1204373258I’m still watching. I’m really enjoying it except for husband scenes. I WANT HIM GONE!!

his scenes really bring down show for me.
Im curious to see how Paul Sparks comes into all this. Will he be the money man for her empire, a partner or a competitorAugust 1, 2021 at 4:07 pm #1204375846I’m probably one of the exceptions here, the show hasn’t picked up on me.. I find the storyline to be very confusing and at some times not very well developed. The only things that are keeping me watching this show are Rose Byrne and the soundtrack actually
