For once, here I am making a thread. If it’s already been made, please link me the original discussion. I thought it’d be fun to rank our favourite tv performances from this year’s cycle – doesn’t matter whether nominated or not at the Emmys -, regardless of their categories.
I’ll start, with a top 10 – that was a challenging one and even without watching so many shows, I had to leave out some great performances. I also only picked one performance from each show.

Julia Garner “Ozark” (felt like Ruth kind of took a backseat this season but Garner stole the show whenever she was onscreen)
Elisabeth Moss “THT” (June might be making some pretty frustrating decisions but Moss remains fantastic)
Helena Bonham Carter & Josh O’Connor “The Crown” (both were fantastic)
Laura Dern “Big Little Lies” (iconic)
Zendaya “Euphoria” (fantastic portrayal of addicted and depression)
Toni Colette & Kaitlyn Dever “Unbelievable” (Wever gave my favorite performance of the trio but they do fantastic work as well)
