Awhile back I posted a poll asking which of Succession’s supporting men would you vote for, with the options being Kieran Culkin and Mathew Macfadyen, which Macfadyen handily won.

But since posting that, there’s been a lot more talk about the possibility of a Nicholas Braun nomination. Regardless of what I think of Braun’s chances, his name is being thrown out there, so I figured to get better results, I’d redo this pull and include to see if I should be taking Cousin Greg more seriously.

And even though I don’t think anyone’s taking him seriously as a contender, Alan Ruck has been submitted as well, so I decided to include him in the poll just to cover all bases. No offense to him, cause he does a very good job, but I’m not really expecting anyone to vote for him.

As with the first poll, my vote goes to Macfadyen, with Culkin also being in my lineup this year.

    1. MacFadyen
    2. Culkin
    3. Braun
    4. Ruck

Surprised someone voted for Ruck (although I wouldn’t mind seeing him get nominated).

FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Culkin for the win and MacFadyen for the nomination.

Braun feels like Zach Woods (Silicon Valley) or Timothy Simons (Veep) type of contender, I don’t get the hype.

    1. MacFadyen 2. Culkin 3. Braun 4. Ruck Surprised someone voted for Ruck (although I wouldn’t mind seeing him get nominated).

Ruck is currently leading the poll, which I’m certain is due to contrarian votes (cause who the hell would vote for him over those three?). I might make another without him because those votes are contaminating the results.

MacFayden is beyond overrated, never got the acclaim he always got. Anyway, Culkin for the win.

Arian Moayed and Rob Yang. Just kidding.

Season 1: Macfadyen > Braun > Culkin (they all deserved to be nominated)
Season 2: Macfadyen > Culkin > Braun > Friedman (only Macfadyen and Culkin deserve to be nominated)

Friedman was good on season 2, better than Ruck tbh.

Wow, everything was going fine and then we got like thirty votes in a row for Alan Ruck. Maybe this poll needs to be redone yet again. Ah well, that is the Internet!

If I were a voter and I loved Succession (which I do), I would check off all 4 names on my ballot.

It would be so disappointing if all 4 got in and because the coronavirus situation hasn’t improved there is no ceremony.
