ER -And in the End- winner
Battlestar Galactica- Daybreak Part 2
Boston Legal-Made in China and Last Call
Damages – Trust Me
Mad Men – The Jet Set
After years of ER not being in the major categories it won for its final episode. It was a beautiful episode and great tribute to a groundbreaking show.
I remember fans being disappointed about Battlestar Galactica finale, but I thought it wrapped up the series nicely
My vote would have been a toss up between these two episodes

The show wasn’t perfect but it always felt very consistent in tone even when it might not have been in plot.
The wrong episode of Mad Men was nominated. It should have been “Meditations in an Emergency”. Just marvellous stuff all around.
ReplyCopy URLFYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

ER in its prime was great tv, then it turned into a quirky soap opera down. I highly recommend the first 6 seasons.
Boston Legal was ok. It was basically David E Kelly’s greatest hit into one show.
Mad Men’s strength was always the writing more than the directing.

It was but part of what made the show so gripping was how strong it utilised both.
I mean this scene!

Oh don’t get me wrong Mad Men had great directing, but every episode Mad Men had in the directing category I always felt there was a better directed show it was up against

What would you have given the directing win to in 2010 if you don’t mind me asking?

From what I remember of these nominees, I would have voted for E.R.
