The way he could potentially tie with James Gandolfini and have more wins than Bryan Cranston.. not to mention Jon Hamm never even won once..

February 26, 2023 at 6:43 am #1205318474Also going out on a limb with Zendaya actually. Admittedly, it’s mostly because of an inkling I have and I’ve noticed that when I don’t follow through on them, my inklings end up winning. But also, I just think Euphoria has performed better than expected with the industry and some guilds and last year’s winner makes me feel they’ll skew young again. Either way, I think it’s solely between her and Coolidge — and just subjectively, I loved both of their performances and either one would be deserving here.

I have Hauser. I might regret it, but I think he’s really strong.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 26, 2023 at 6:50 am #1205318481Zendaya is definitely a real threat. That DGA win plus the fact that she’s never actually lost a major award she’s been nominated for. For all we know both her Emmy wins were landslides even though they felt like (relatively) close races.
I’m sticking with Coolidge because I’ve had her ever since that finale and it was just such a powerful gut instinct that a sweep had begun. But she’s still a supporting performance which ultimately means it will be huge if she can pull it off but understandable if she can’t.

Yep. This is a great point.
