2.) Margaret Qualley (Maid)- 10

    WHEW the gap.

Midway through Maid and I’ve just slotted Andie MacDowell into my predictions. SAG love their veterans and stars, she’s in a Netflix show, she’s campaigning quite a bit and her performance is one that is both a memorable part of her show and a showy one. Whenever there’s been an open field we’ve also seen SAG default to contenders from shows they like (whether Emmy win competitive contenders – like Crudup – or not – like Bill Camp and Winona Ryder, the latter of whom was also a star of a certain era).

With The White Lotus likely moving to drama/comedy, it wouldn’t surprise me if we just end up with a field of 3x Mare of Easttown and 2x Maid like we did with The Crown and Ozark last year. If you asked me this when the predictions centre opened I’d say it was quite unlikely but both Maid and Mare of Easttown seem to be shaping up to be the two biggest contenders this winter awards season and their competitors that have aired thus far have all been met with apathy.

If he’s moved then Isaac, but since he’s still an option here.

Since Coolidge,Daddario and Britton were in Actress,I thought of including Bartlett and Lacy in Actor. The White Lotus won’t be in Limited Ensemble though.

I’d actually like to see that just so we can stop the mediocre male remake of Grace and Frankie from stealing nominations from more deserving comedies.
