    Welcome!

Tina Fey, James Caverly, Nathan Lane, Jackie Hoffman and Jayne Houdyshell will all be credited for the ensemble nomination. Jane Lynch won’t (she only appeared in one just like Charles Dance last year in The Crowm). Don’t know about anyone else.

    Ah, thanks!

I assumed no Jane because it was only one ep, but I was unsure about Tina, Nathan, etc. I’m glad James Caverly is in!

James would be a sensational choice for a nomination.

Shows which won at least 5 of the 6 top individual awards from an Emmy/Sag awards season:

5 Big Little Lies S1/John Adams

    Schitt’s Creek ending

    Crown S4/Sopranos S4/West Wing S3

    6 Angels in America

I wonder if Mare of Easttown will add to the HBO domination.

I have been reading people’s thoughts on IMDB recently and some are great. I thought I’d share this one review of Mare of Easttown as it is frankly hilarious : (the White Lotus has even more hilarious reviews)

I jumped ship midway through 3rd episode.

It’s rare that I abandon a show. I usually get to the end of a season/series and then give an opinion. But in the case of Mare of Easttown, I just couldn’t stand watching any more. I do wonder how a show like this gets decent reviews. I guess some people just love misery porn and soap opera family drama.

To be clear, I thought I was getting a crime drama. Instead, I got dreary, depressing family drama, with the standard teen side stories thrown in. I don’t need every show to be bright and fluffy. In fact, another show this has been compared to, I loved – Sharp Objects. One key difference between that show and this show is that Amy Adams – despite being emotionally broken – was likeable and you sympathised with her. You can’t say the same about most people in MoE. Miserable people galore, in a miserable town, with truly awful accents.

In summary, if you like depressing family drama, you may get something from this show. If not, stay away.

    Here’s a Succession one

    “2/10
It’s just clicked: “Succession” is the basically the same cast as M*A*S*H in the TV version Tom/Frank Shiv/HotLips Kendall/Trapper Roman/Hawkeye Greg/Radar Logan/Colonel

But seriously, why do so many US actors do this: pause for a moment as if they’re thinking, but it’s fake, probably to suppress some actual feeling? Is that a method? Even British actors do it when they’re playing Americans in US productions. Watching ‘Succession’ and it’s like 95% of the actors are all playing the same character.”

    Ermm, OK……?

Urgh, i hate that Lizzie Olsen is ineligible, she deserves to be SAG nominated as well.

Reading IMDb reviews is always a big mistake.

I doubt a body that snubbed Regina King would nominate any individual perfomer from Marvel.

Regina King was snubbed because Watchmen wasn’t big enough at that point and it was still in Drama.
Wandavision is one of the biggests shows of the year and Olsen made the Emmys, i don’t think she would be that far off

She will be for “Love and Death” though (I think). 🙂

I think Olsen would have made it in if she was eligible (I probably would have had her second in my predictions). We don’t call SAG-AFTRA populist for no reason.
