All 4 episodes of Landscapers will be out at once on December 7, one day after the SAG Awards nominations balloting begins.

    Is that just on Sky?

Wow, this is absolutely not what I expected. Colman looks bloody amazing, but this does not look like something SAG-AFTRA would gravitate toward at all.

Who else heard the “24” theme in the trailer? 😀

I don’t think I vibe with Sharpe’s style but Thewlis and Colman look good. I don’t know if I see it going anywhere, awards wise, though.

I’ll probably personally love it but I think you are correct here.

Cannes Best Actor winner David Thewlis, everybody! Why didn’t they put it in the credits?

"The Lost Daughter" in every eligible category - Film
"Succession" Season 3 in every eligible category - TV
"Heaux Tales" by Jasmine Sullivan in every eligible category - Music

Or at least Emmy nominated because it’s a show

I’m not sure, but some of the more recent HBO/Sky co-productions actually premiered on HBO a day before it first aired on Sky in the UK. So here’s hoping it’s the same case here.

I’ve finally slotted Oscar Isaac in. He does seem to have some individual buzz right now, it’s a strong showy performance and this is a wide open field so I think he can slip in here like Ethan Hawke did last year.

Dopesick feels more under-seen than Scenes From a Marriage and Landscapers seems like it might peak too late for SAG. I’m tempted to slot Will Ferrell in if The Shrink Next Door really hits but I can see SAG just nominate Rudd and snub Ferrell and Hahn for some reason.

    FYC:
Picture: Passing, The Power of the Dog, Shiva Baby, Spencer
Director: Jane Campion, Rebecca Hall, Pablo Larrain
Actor: Benedict Cumberbatch, Andrew Garfield, Winston Duke/James McAvoy
Actress: Olivia Colman, Kristen Stewart, Tessa Thompson
    S. Actor: Richard E. Grant, Troy Kotsur, Kodi Smit-McPhee
    S. Actress : Kirsten Dunst/Martha Plimpton/Ruth Negga/Diana Rigg/Anya Taylor-Joy
    O. Screenplay: Bergman Island/Mass/Nine Days
    A. Screenplay: The Lost Daughter/Passing/The Power of the Dog/Shiva Baby

It’s definitely bigger than Scenes and the people who are actually watching it seem to be in love. Rose to an 8.7 on IMDb today. A weekly release can help it build enough momentum for Keaton at least.

not saying you’re wrong but why do you say its bigger than Scenes? I feel like I haven’t seen much talk regarding either outside these forums

That Metacritic score, though… What happened?

"The Lost Daughter" in every eligible category - Film
"Succession" Season 3 in every eligible category - TV
"Heaux Tales" by Jasmine Sullivan in every eligible category - Music

I assume another Morning Show where the first batch critics were bad and the rest were good.

    Oscars FYC:

    "CODA" – in all categories

"Everybody's Talking About Jamie" – Sup. Actor (Richard E. Grant), Sup. Actress (Sarah Lancashire) and Original Song (“This Was Me”)

"King Richard" – Original Song (“Be Alive”)

"Summer of Soul" – Picture, Film Editing and Documentary Feature

“The Green Knight” – in all categories
