Campaigning for those SAG Awards😂 This is hilarious. I would break character too if Ann Dowd delivered the line like that.

Lol I cracked up and I don’t even know why. Dowd’s line reading was amazing.

Something I wonder, could Snook take the SAG? The field is feeling wide open enough.

    FYC:

"The Good Fight" and "The Other Two" in all categories.

    It seems a huge

Something I wonder, could Snook take the SAG? The field is feeling wide open enough.

Yes but there are also a laundry list of reasons why she wouldn’t (none of which have anything to do with her talent and all have to do with the history of this award). I think it will be Aniston again, personally (I think I have Moss predicted, but I feel like that’s misguided) – she wants it, there’s recency bias, she’s in LA, she’s campaigning hard and the press are as besotted with her as ever.

I’d expect her to tbh unless either Smith Cameron is nominated with her (we know SAG and their splits but even this may not matter if Aniston also is contending against a co-star) or Rodriguez is nominated.

Nah. It was dated 2021 (no month) on early promo material if I recall but seems like it was delayed.

It will be interesting to see if And Just Like That… can factor in here because SAG voting already opened earlier this week. I guess what does help it is that it will definitely be a viewing priority (which isn’t a guarantee for pretty much any of the other contenders sans HacksOMITB and Ted Lasso) but late-breakers at SAG can perform rather interestingly.

I think either they go all in and both SJP and the ensemble are nominated or both miss.

SATC has a huge fan base in the guild, comparable to the fan bases of Friends and Seinfeld. Although the negative publicity around the show due to Kim Catrall’s exit and the way they handled Samantha is not a good thing.

At this point, I just want the nominations now.

If Tina was eligible,I think she’d have got nominated for Only murders. Amy has a strong shot at a nomination. I’m starting to realise that Selena Gomez may not get nominated because she was overshadowed by both the comedy legends and also by Tina and Amy.
