    Can any one confirm if HoTD have been doing FYC panels?

    They did a screening of the finale in LA for committee members last month.

    FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

    What are people’s thoughts on The Crown? I feel pretty confident on Debicki, Staunton, and West but outside of that………..?

    Ensemble + Staunton, Debicki and West, feel pretty solid on that.
    Pryce is a possibility if they go all in for the show (which they could, they love The Crown), but i feel like his performance brought a lot of controversy and both Matt Smith and Tobias Menzies missed SAG so.

    FYC:
    The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
    The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);
    Poker Face, The Great, The Bear, Evil (especially Katja Herbers) and The Good Fight.

    After finishing the final season of Dead to Me I’m actually surprised no one’s been talking about Linda Cardellini more as a contender. She obviously isn’t happening without or instead of Applegate but the material she has is SO baity that if the committee are watching the show I actually think she’ll probably get in. I wasn’t even considering her that much of a contender before but I’m actually considering switching her in.

    I have toyed with Netflix getting in Applegate and possibly Cardellini and Wednesday going to ensemble.

    Two of my friends went to the Maisel SAG Q&A on Friday night and people really do love Shalhoub. At the reception after they couldn’t even meet him because people were all crowded around him trying to talk and ask for a photo. I don’t think that would influence anyone’s predix but had to share after what we were talking about the other day lol. They screened the finale ep and Kirby and Hinkle are the sweetest.

    Can anyone explain to me how Yellowjackets is eligible this year, if they submitted season 1 last year and season 2 isn’t coming out until next year? Are you allowed to submit the same season for two different SAGs if the episodes span the New Year?

    I would think Lynskey has a great chance at a nomination, but she was also on the ballot last year…

    The rule is 4 episodes in the calendar year. Yellowjackets have three and I believe it’s been suggested they probably petitioned.

    Yeah I’m not dropping Shalhoub
    That leaves the last spot between TJW and JAW for me, I’m going with the former.

    Thanks. Is the idea that SAG voters are just looking at the episodes aired this year? Or they review the whole season two years in a row?

    Either way, I’m intrigued, and I think Lynskey could squeeze into a very competitive field.

    I suppose in theory. In reality – people won’t separate them in their head just because they’re told to.

    I’m okay with it given we’re talking it being five days away from eligibility. I don’t think it’s particularly egregious.

    I don’t think it’s egregious either! but a little confusing. I’m predicting Lynskey, I think.

    Are we underestimating Jeff Bridges here?
