I feel certain they’ll finally have Jason Sudeikis as a guest host.

How about Martin Short/Steve Martin returning with such a buzzy new show?

Kristen Stewart did a great job as a host before, so that seems logical.

Could they finally get Will Smith for the first time ever? It was always surprising he wouldn’t agree to host while on NBC all those years or during his box office peak years.

Hopefully for something fresh, Selena Gomez with Martin/Short cameos.

Apparently Rami Malek is hosting in October according to Deuxmoi.

Sudeikis and Hader (when Barry airs) would be *chef kiss.

I imagine Zendaya will host around Nov-Dec if they ever finish filming the overblown nightmare of Euphoria season 2. I’d love Tom Holland to host but he’s said his dyslexia affects his confidence to read things live.

Simu Liu!

Definitely Kristen Stewart will host, they love and apparently Spencer is it.

Can I dream for Olivia Colman?

Rachel Brosnahan? Has she hosted?

And Kirsten Dunst please!

And Oscar Isaac for good measure.

Bill Hader and Barry in everything (2 babka)
The Great - Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and comedy writing and directing

Severance in drama series, writing, Adam Scott for best actor, Ben Stiller for drama directing, and the whole cast in supporting.

The season premiere slot should go to Simone Biles. It would be headline-grabbing and a ratings draw, which are always top priorities for “SNL.”

I like some of the choices. Kind of surprised with Will Smith, Michaela Coel could be similar to most recent hosts Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Dan Levy, Emmy winners who are multi-talented (acting, writing, producing, etc.)

Maybe a long shot, how about Jean Smart? She has had a great year.

Rachel Brosnahan? Has she hosted?

She did (after her Emmy win in 2018)! Although I guess she could do it again to promote Maisel season 4.

Can I dream for Olivia Colman?

This would be iconic.

Stewart, Sudeikis for sure. Steve Martin. Brosnahan. Sarah Paulson. Ryan Reynolds. Olivia Colman. Leonardo DiCaprio. Meryl Streep. Ariana grande or kelly Clarkson. A random Adele episode again would be fun. Olivia rodrigo. Carol Burnett (let’s start that one 🙂 ). I’m guessing Melissa McCarthy but would hope they get jenifer Coolidge instead

I had this thought too! They didn’t have a sports person host last year, and as you say, think would be a ratings draw.

I’m predicting double duty for Lady Gaga and potentially Billie Eilish. Zendaya, Sudeikis, Kristen Stewart and Jeremy Strong are on my host predictions list. A wildcard for the Christmas former host slot – Molly Shannon??

Really surprised we haven’t had any confirmed cast departures – I still think Bryant, Strong and Davidson are gone, and at the same time think we would have heard by now. If noone leaves, please no new cast. This cast is bloated.

FYC: "What We Do in the Shadows" and "Severance" in everything, Natasha Rothwell ("Insecure"), Sophie Thatcher ("Yellowjackets"), Renee Elise Goldsberry ("Girls5eva"), James Caverly, ("Only Murders in the Building")

Given that Che is likely to return, i can’t see Biles hosting after the unsavoury jokes he posted to his Instagram in July about her sexual assault.

How about Kathryn Hahn? She’ll has some Emmy buzz at the moment for WandaVision and she’s got The Shrink Next Door coming out on AppleTV+ in November.

If Lorne really wants Biles on bad enough, he’ll make that happen. I think the past controversy with Che could be worked out in some fashion. If anything, Biles would have her big moment in the opening monologue or in “Weekend Update” to address and respond to her critics, including Che. This article sums up the crossroads that “SNL” is currently facing with Che nicely:
