I think it'd be cute to have Halle host SNL with Chloe as a musical guest this year

Saying skit is a regional preference for me, can’t speak for Vinny. No one where I grew up says sketch (inc. sketch comedians). It’s always skit

Same. I grew up always hearing them called skits (EX: “that skit with the dentist on the carol show is iconic”.) Which is to say my aunts and uncles, and grandparents called/call them skits. I can use the term sketch from now on if you like. Just something I grew up hearing as a kid. Kinda like the fire hydrant is a johnny pump to me. Did not mean to offend anyone. skit is now sketch when I am on here but at home its still skit lol.

Understandable, thanks Chris! Was just giving a non American perspective, it’s not the default show of its type here.

I actually love it when people point these things out. The more you know! I try to avoid too many local turns of phrase when I know I’m on spaces online that aren’t (for the sake of clarity), so it’s really helpful.
