    Hi all (Chris particularly)

Any ideas on the status of this? It’s a ten episode series due to debut in 2021 with a terrific cast (Arquette is currently 10th in predictions without even a trailer!)  and in the SAG prediction centre, but there’s no trailer as of yet which will make it hard to qualify given Apple normally doesn’t drop a full series binge.

PS apologies if there is another thread!

I believe this is the only series left in the SAG prediction centre without a release date currently, everything else for 2021 is confirmed.

Probably being held like the Claire Danes series til next year

I presume it is but if that’s the case it shouldn’t be in the SAG prediction centre.

I loved that pilot. Admittedly it wasn’t the most original thing in the world but I was gripped throughout and I thought it really set the show and its tone up in the best and most understandable of ways without being too simplistic or clichéd. Scott was excellent.

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Does the pilot give any idea about Arquette’s category placement?

Adam Scott is the clear lead. Britt Lower is probably the performer with the next largest screen time and is quite prominent in the first half but isn’t as much in the latter. Arquette doesn’t have that much screen time in the pilot but her character is quite prominent narratively and I assume from the way things were set up will become more so as the season progresses.

She could really go either way and it wouldn’t really be that much of a “fraud” if it makes sense? Scott’s character is the principal protagonist and is probably in around 70% of the pilot but it felt more defined by its premise and setting than it by its characters.

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Just finished the first two episodes and I am all in. Adam scott has never been better especially in his scenes as the “outtie” He is operating at career best levels here. Partricia Arquette is equally brilliant and she does a very good job building the mystery around her character. I love almost aspect about the show especially the production design. With all that said i fear this will get the homecoming treatment( which is sad because based on those two episodes alone, Scott should really be nominated)

Jesus episode 1 was a slog. I love the cast and I’m all for food for thought. But it’s also tough times and I’ve no need to watch my literal sadness on TV.

Bill Hader and Barry in everything (2 babka)
The Great - Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and comedy writing and directing

Severance in drama series, writing, Adam Scott for best actor, Ben Stiller for drama directing, and the whole cast in supporting.
