Should There Be Smaller Critic Awards for Emmy Season?

Every award season has the many smaller critic awards that help us with guessing whose getting nominated/winning.

I think, since there are so many TV shows out now and so many different platforms, I’d love to see smaller critic awards for Emmy Season, similar to Oscar’s award season.

I feel like we all love to hate the regional awards and even all awards in general.  Less is pretty much always more for me with awards.

Fuck no! TCA is just fine on its lonesome. We get enough with year-end lists. I like the surprises of the Emmys, thank you.

Looking at the choices the film critics groups have made in recent years, I’d say I’m fine with our current state. I don’t need to see a gazillion awards showered on mediocrity like Fleabag for example.
