ReplyCopy URLJuly 6, 2022 at 6:12 pm #1205005327One of the most remarkable opening seasons of a drama is about to call it a day. Season 2 has already wrapped, so this will be the last episode of the best Trek TV in a generation until next spring.
As has been the case several times, this will be a reimagining of a TOS season 1 episode. Let’s see if they can keep the remake streak of goodness going.
Episode 1.10: A Quality of Mercy (season finale)

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 1, 2023 at 6:52 pm #1205218008Got to say, kinda disappointing of lack of year-end critical support for this show vs. the inexplicable fawning over Andor. Collider.com has more stressful news:
They’re suggesting season 2 won’t be eligible for 2023 Emmy consideration, rather, a start date of OCTOBER 2023.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 28, 2023 at 12:59 pm #1205367280Well, it wasn’t October, the season 2 premiere date. But it’s just as bad: June 15.
ATAS eligibility, as you know, is 6/1/22-5/31/23. SNW 2.0, then, is ineligible for this summer’s Emmy nominations. Season 2 was wrapped MONTHS ago, so it’s frustrating to have to wait a f’n YEAR when they could’ve pushed S2 ahead to early May.
