    Really?

Logan took it pretty easy on him in this episode.

Nah, Roman is done after this. He’s erased all the goodwill he garnered with his dad with that text. Logan has always made it a point to show his disdain for people with “issues”, even his own grandson’s mild neurodivergence.

I’ve always had this opinion but especially after reading the New Yorker profile on Jeremy Strong, I have to say, I just have this major contempt for method. I understand its process, but it’s not healthy. Most casting directors go out of their way now to find actors who don’t use this particular approach. Heath Ledger’s death should have prompted this approach to be banned IMO. Actors have to be able to turn it on and off. There was a rumor Shia Lebouf actually killed dogs doing the method approach for a role. I mean, what the actual…

Let’s hope Jesse doesn’t pull a D&D on us, or else we kill him

He would NEVER. Don’t insult him like that. Armstrong is a gardener, not an architect. This is his story; he isn’t rewriting it.

I’m definitely leaning towards them killing off Kendall (or him committing suicide), it would be the ballsy-iest move the show’s ever made and would cause a seismic impact on the other characters. I mean with how pathetic the birthday party episode was and him blowing his dinner with Logan, I feel like that’s on deck as a natural progression.

I think killing off Kendall this way would be extremely poetic (season 1) and very Jesse Armstrong. He really is the modern-day Shakespeare. It would be a devasting end to the character but it would get the ball moving to get that homophobic fart out of his chair. Jesse has said there will only be one or two more seasons. I see him going through with this.

I didn’t realize how good of an actor Skarsgård is until this year. He’s great on this show.

I don’t think Skarsgaard is the actor on paper I’d chose for that character but I like that they went there.

Forgot to mention in my earlier comment…

For about the first half of the latest episode, I thought they were dropping hints that Shiv was already pregnant. She was supposedly sick/not feeling well at the beginning of the episode, and then there was a very quick blink and you missed it moment in Italy where she declined a glass of champagne. But then about two scenes later they showed her drinking a different glass of champagne. I don’t know. I just thought it was weird that they had her decline the first glass.

same here. But she was really still just extremely mad about what happened at the birthday party.

And if Becoming a God in Central Florida had become a thing instead of a total non-entity Skarsgard would’ve been a shoo-in for a guest win because that was one the more hilarious performances I’ve seen.

One highlight of this episode for me was Shiv scene with her mom. It was a really big episode for her.
