That scene with the conflict between Rava and Kendall over Naomi and the champagne bottle was so tense and so hilarious at the same time lol. It only went further to show why this show really should have won SAG ensemble already.

Eh considering how tormented he was by this whole thing the previous season, this quip felt wildly out of character and seemed to be in place only for the writers to wink at the audience unnecessarily.

I disagree. It felt clear from the offset of this episode that as a character Kendall was filled with so much adrenaline (and cockiness) following his public revelations so the episode therefore matched that in tone and that piece of dialogue only exemplified that.

Where did you get up to the last time you tried (if you don’t mind me asking)?

I can’t remember to be honest which is why I’m starting again. Definitely not beyond half way through season 1.

I quite enjoyed the show from its very first episode but I think for most people the sixth episode of the first season (“Which Side Are You On?”) is where they really got into it so it will be interesting to see what you think.

Solid season premiere, held back a bit by the amount of table setting it had to do. Succession seasons always ends far stronger than they begin, so I have to imagine this episode won’t end up a season 3 highlight. Even so, it’s heavenly to have this show back after such a long hiatus and the cast continues to be unrivaled. Cox really stood out in this one and I hope he gets the material this year to win the Emmy. Smith and Snook were also highlights. Everyone is so good, but I hope these three dominate the season. Well written and directed by Strong and Mylod, but they will have better material down the line, no doubt.

I feel like as soon as he saw how worshipped he was being, he didn’t care anymore, he was a God and all his sins were forgiven because he is now a superhero.
The constant interruption of his lawyers, the not giving a fuck about his ex, the bottle situation and etc, were not something the Kendall from S2 would do.

‘Succession’ reactions: Season 3 premiere was ‘f***ing fantastic,’ it’s the ‘best show on television’

Girl looking at my reactions from an outsider perspective is so weird.
