It might be tough though with Mylod directing the finale and his profile having risen significantly following The Menu and episode 3 looking like it will be a really baity directing showcase. Not to mention the fact The White Lotus and potentially The Last of Us won’t be facing internal competition.

My favourite line of the episode was when Greg says “I don’t want to see what happens in Guantanamo” in response to the whole situation with the woman he was dating. It wasn’t a particularly flashy or memorable line but it made me pause the episode to laugh.

Sarah Snook in Succession and Kerry Condon in The Banshees of Inisherin proved that characters named Siobhan are legendary.
My favorite line was either Roman’s “you can pop it back in your mouth now Kerry” or the entire Greg’s date having a big purse bit lol. I was dying at both.
There are so many small moments that are genuinely hilarious though, so I’m sure if I rewatched the premiere I’d find things that I missed/forgot about.

Yeh Shiv’s slick shade at the start of Roman’s phone call with Kerry, then he had to one-up her and throw a whole solar eclipse with this line 💀 another great scene.

I was DYING when Greg’s date said she asked Logan for a selfie oh my god, I imagined Logan’s face immediately and burst out laughing.

unless something dramatic happens I am struggling to see Logan as an anti-hero (which is Kendall for me). Walter and Tony had some redeeming qualities & love for their kids / Jesse. Logan is pure self with no redeeming qualities and at this point looks as though he’d happily destroy his kids or indeed anything & everything in his way.
Cox has been brilliant however, that’s for sure

I think the world is probably fairly sick of these kinds of toxic heroes (anti or otherwise). We’ve moved on from being impressed by the *bravery* of a flawed man on screen, no?
