To me, every single character on Succession is overtly comedic save for Kendall.

Even Kendall’s comedic. L to the OG is by far the funniest thing that’s ever been on the show.

Well, while the results where all messed up due to the first redo’s Alan Ruck situation, and my early creation of this one, there still is a bit to take away from the results.

Macfadyen won this poll, but it was closer than when I did one between him and Culkin months ago. He had a better lead against Culkin and Braun in the first redo poll, where he was second to Ruck, and definitely would’ve come in first if it weren’t for all those troll votes that Ruck got. I’ve recently moved him in, and I have him ahead of Culkin. Culkin is the bigger name and he has the Globe nods, but it’s worth noting that the Globes are more likely to vote for the bigger star than the Emmys. I think both will make it in.

Culkin was ahead of Braun both times, but Braun managed to get a decent amount of votes. This has caused me to start taking him more seriously than I was before. I still don’t think he’ll be nominated, much less over Macfadyen and Culkin, but I now believe he’s in the realm of possibility.

Also, some people here have spoken about how they actually would’ve voted for Ruck, showing that at least a few of his votes in the first thread were legitimate. Due to the combination of some people not being able to vote for their favorite of the submitted supporting actors, and the numbers being messed up due to all that shit in the first redo, I think a third and final redo poll would actually be worth doing. That way, we can get truly definitive numbers, so long as nobody decides to mess with the poll again.

I said before, I won’t make a new poll, and I’m not entirely sure if enough time has passed by now, but if anyone is interested in figuring making a new poll with all four men so as to truly get the actual numbers, I’ll definitely vote on the subject one last time.

I love all three but Macfadyen to me is absolutely perfect in this show. He gets the most to do in terms of comedy and drama and I think he balances them flawlessly.
