12 time nominee but only one win
Most of those nominations come from two long-running drama series. Yes, GG was kind of going its own way for the one who won. However, considering that they very rarely gave two win for one performance, it’s understandable that she didn’t have more than one win.
Maybe, next year GG will add her win number.

I’m so happy for Annie Murphy.

Clancy Brown as Kurt CaldwellMarch 19, 2021 at 11:08 am #1204145333Black Monday S3 begins in late May, won’t be submitted for Emmys but should get Cheadle in at the Globes again. (And in a perfect world, Hall and Rannells)
ReplyCopy URLMarch 19, 2021 at 11:36 am #1204145374I feel like with the type of drama The Morning Show is that could be possible.
Also, will they be able to resist Olivia Colman as a serial killer? And if Sandra’s show is good or even excellent she will take it surely. They’re both darlings of the globes to be honest

March 19, 2021 at 11:39 am #1204145380If Landscapers and A Very English Scandal come out on time for the Globes we could see an Olivia Colman vs Claire Foy race lmao.
Well, that’ll be interesting. Claire could have a huge showy tape tapping into all the voters who gave her the crown win, add the elements of character which she could never experiment with as Elizabeth II too. But then Olivia Colman playing someone unhinged, a complete contrast after playing QE II. Both very promising

March 19, 2021 at 12:24 pm #1204145450Throwing this out because I don’t it’s implausible especially at the Globes of all places, Miranda Cosgrove for iCarly?
It’s been of one of the top performing shows on Netflix the past few months and Paramount+ (a new network) has been pushing the revival as their flagship original.

This reminds me of when a few of us predicted Miley Cyrus to be nominated for Hannah Montana in 2009/2010.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 30, 2021 at 9:43 am #1204165923I was looking into the potential contenders for this season and it’s crazy how stacked the comedy and limited series categories are. I don’t even think I can make any predictions yet, tbh.

She’s COMING.
It’s supposed to be filming this summer. If I had to guess, it would probably be released in spring 2022 so I think it would compete for the 2023 Globes. But yeah, she’s coming and I’m ready to stan.
