    Marvel will probably do this.

Unless a movie will be announced, I think it is safe to assume Hawkeye will be in Drama and Ms. Marvel in Limited.

    Only Series prediction

    1. Ted Lasso
    2. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
    3. The Great
    4. What We Do In The Shadows
    5. Atlanta
    6. Russian Doll
    7. The Flight Attendant
    8. Insecure

    9. The Chair
    10. Only Murders in the Building

I’m probably missing a huge series because my mind isn’t it anymore.
    Assuming Hacks and Barry miss.

Also, if they go with PEN15 this year we might keep an eye out next year because for sure it’s returning with back half of S2

Ted Lasso is type of role that gets multiple Emmys to an actor in the Comedy side, so I assume Sudeikis will keep winning every year until they get tired of the show.

As far as I know it ends with either S3 or 4.

Am I delusional for thinking the popstar bias won’t affect Gomez that much.

Sure yeah she’s been a non-stop bop machine for 12 years now, but she started her career on a sitcom and in that interim she’s also lowkey established herself as a credible supporting player for auteur filmmakers (All*n, Jarmusch, Korrine, McKay) and was responsible for one of Netflix’s biggest hits (13 Reasons Why).

It’s not like she’s jumping head first into the headend of acting and obviously two legends and professionals trust her skill enough to co-lead with them.

She has never received any big industry nomination for her music tho so we already know she isn’t that respected and the only award noms she has received last decade for her acting (outside of these teen choice awards etc) are a razzie and one asking her to fire her agent. In a competitive field, I think it’ll be a real struggle for someone like her to get nominated because the bias will be there and I honestly wouldn’t bet on her.

The Flight Attendant Season Two has me curious because it’ll definitely air around the right time, but isn’t Season One the end of the source material? It almost seemed from the end of it that S2 will be a complete reboot of “air hostess spy” adventures (and without Michelle Gomez), and … I have reservations about that.

Saw that C- review for Physical on AV Club, oh how my heart sank.

The thing is if it’s not him it will be Bill Hader which already has two for this role lol.

Let’s hope more comic and interesting male roles are made ahead, because the gap between the female and male characters (even in this weak year) is shocking.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is starring in Apple’s Mr. Corman which he created. Debra Winger and Juno Temple are in the cast as well.

It’s a shame that Ted Danson never won for The Good Place, he as Michael was such a interesting, funny and great performance.

Honestly, while it would be nice if everyone had better roles, it’s great that unlike on film, women get the better parts on tv and female-led tv shows win awards more often than their male-led counterparts nowadays. I think the Emmys could get away with combining the male and female acting categories. The reason why the Oscars couldn’t is that men would win way more than women due to male-led films doing better with the Oscars, but I really can’t imagine that happening at the Emmys when women always have the better roles nowadays. Just looking at the past 5 years, this is my guess for what gender-neutral acting winners would have looked like.

Yeah I do not care about gender splitting here, but I guess it’s a good thing for male roles, they need to step their games up because no one is caring about those same old roles that the Emmys don’t embrace anymore.
