I have a question for everyone. Rather than “who do you think will be nominated”, who do you think will be campaign priorities for each of the major streamers/networks for each category? ( these are not always the same thing as “this is who I think/want to win”).

    Interesting idea!

    HBO Drama

    Drama: Succession
    Actor: Cox-Strong
    Actress: Baranski
Sup. Actor: Morgan Spector (if he goes lead, then Macfadyen)
Sup. Actress: Snook (Coon might be here, but Snook had me with that saliva)
    Writing: Succession
    Directing: Pilot, The Gilded Age

Here I’m hoping Succession gets that SAG Ensemble. The buzz is real!

"The Lost Daughter" in every eligible category - Film
"Succession" Season 3 in every eligible category - TV
"Heaux Tales" by Jasmine Sullivan in every eligible category - Music

Is Better Call Saul assumed to be missing simply because of Odenkirk’s heart attack? Or are there other factors at play? Because if they have to delay it to summer/fall of 2022 I don’t see it boding well for the 2023 emmys, which is a shame because I desperately want Odenkirk to win his overdue emmy, as well as eith Esposito or Banks win theirs, and Seehorn get a nomination (sadly, I think a win is out of the question for her).

FYC: The Underground Railroad, Barry Jenkins, The Crown, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, Emily In Paris(for chaos’s sake)

Before the incident, production should theoretically end in October. I’m not a doctor, but I suppose it’s recommended that a person should wait a considerable amount of time to recover from a heart attack.

I guess it depends on how many episodes they have shot already. I think a very late premiere like May could still be in play but it ultimately depends on when production picks up.

Yeah obviously his health is the number one priority, and if it does miss next year’s eligibility, I’m probably in the minority on this, but I would rather them air it in spring of 2023 to hopefully get momentum for emmy nominations, but they probably won’t do that.
